FKHNDE- @FUTUREME
Fine and new media art demonstrate the possibilities of who we might become - individually and collectively. While the process blends traditional mediums with digital design and generative AI.

FKHND is a response to claims alleged against both famous and non-famous people of power. It is a cry to put down hero worship. To believe victims. The process speaks to themes of human potential, art history and classical fine art practices. It very pointedly remarks on the assembly line practices of larger-named artists throughout the centuries. FKHNDE incorporates classical painting and AI to create compelling works at a more rapid pace- allowing me to respond to the world more rapidly than previously possible for the classically trained artist. The final works are translated to hand-painted oil on canvas.
Fine and new media art demonstrate the possibilities of who we might become - individually and collectively. While the process blends traditional mediums with digital design and generative AI. The project goes a step further, provoking the conversation of AI as a tool for fine artists. The work incorporates high-concept, design, illustration, research, and knowledge of AI. Rather than being the tool, the work introduces MidJourney as a sketchpad: By combining traditional and new media tools to accelerate visual storytelling.

A careful process of infusing more humanity into generative AI results. 8 subjects were chosen and turned into oil paintings by hand. This process created a more intimate relationship with the concept. And a more natural compostion.
